Every organization needs a person to develop new business. I started with Hangar 18 in 1998 joining the three partners as their first “hire.” I had never been involved in the communications business, but with guidance and nurturing from the partners, through to completing a degree at Simon Fraser University in communications, I learned a great deal quickly, and soon became an integral part of the company. During my tenure at Hangar 18 we grew to over 20 people and secured clients including Boston Pizza, YVR, Richmond Centre, Pharmasave, BC Hydro, G3, Princeton Tec, Canadian Cancer Society, BC Children’s Hospital, Vancouver Foundation and Granville Island, to name but a few.
Because of the sheer creative horsepower and processes used by Hangar 18, I remain committed to working with them on projects related to sporting goods, outdoor lifestyle and the industrial sector.
